Midway Stage Entertainment

Please join us each night to give a warm welcome to the bands and entertainers who will performing on the Midway Stage at the Huntingdon County Fair.  We would like to thank each one of these talented performers for joining us this year to provide great music and entertainment for all ages!

Fair Queen Contest

Performing: Sunday, August 7th, 2022 @ 5:00PM

Join us at the Midway stage as we crown a new Huntingdon County Fair Queen. Our Fair Queen will then represent our fair throughout the state for the year to come.

Dan & Galla Musical Show

Performing: Sunday, August 7th, 2022 @ 6:30PM

This husband-and-wife team receives rave reviews whenever they perform. Their love of music and the fun they have on stage appeals to everyone. Their variety show features “feel-good” music from the ‘50s & ‘60s, country, patriotic, polkas and lots more.

Laurel Highlands Magic Company and Balloons by Miss Dody-Jane

Performing Twisting balloons in the fair office vicinity from 11 - 3

Miss Dody-Jane has been twisting balloons for more than 30 years. She shares her joy of entertaining children and families at fairs and festivals throughout Western PA. Her quick line-work balloons bring smiles to young and old alike. Please come see Miss Dody-Jane at The Huntingdon County Fair.

Backlash

Performing: Monday, August 8th, 2022 @ 7:00PM & 8:30

Backlash is a high energy band who loves what they do. Strong vocals, high energy, precise musicianship, entertaining – modern and classic rock. Come join the party!

Echo Valley Bluegrass

Performing: Tuesday, August 9th, 2022 @ 6:30 & 7:30PM

Echo Valley Bluegrass band has been entertaining people of all ages since 2009 with their variety of traditional bluegrass, gospel, Celtic and folk styles. With their unique blend of 6 sisters and one brother, enjoy this family group with their superb stage presence, musicianship, sibling harmonies and multi-instrument talents.

Heather Olson

Performing: Wednesday, August 10th, 2022 @ 2:00PM

Enjoy this tribute to Patsy Cline and other classic country artists.

Heather will also present a cameo performance on Wednesday with Dan & Galla at 12:00PM.

Uptown Band

Performing: Thursday, August 11th, 2022 @ 7:00 & 8:30PM

Make Mine Country

Performing: Friday, August 13th, 2022 @ 7:00PM

From the historic stage of the Wheeling Jamboree (where they are members) to Nashville, the Pennsylvania Farm Show, to fairs, carnivals and backyards everywhere, Make Mine Country keeps traditional music alive. Every year, the fair welcomes them back to kick off Country Music Night at 7:00 PM and then feature the headliner. Make Mine Country will have you dancing and singing.

Heather Olsen

Heather Olson began singing at an early age in her father’s country band. In 2006, she won the Clearfield County Fair Amateur Idol contest which launched her music career. Heather travels all over the state of Pennsylvania with the Silver Eagle Band, performing her favorite songs from classic to modern day country. She performs the National Anthem at various sporting events and local events throughout Central Pennsylvania. Nine years ago, she began to pay tribute to the late Patsy Cline by dressing like the legend and performing her soulful ballads.

Hawkshaw Hawkins, Jr.

Performing: Friday, August 12th, 2022 @ 8:30PM

Son of the legendary Hawkshaw Hawkins and country music hall of fame member Jean Shepard. Also, Heather Olsen will be appearing with Hawkshaw Hawkins as Patsy Cline. March 5, 1963 was the date that Patsy Cline, along with Hawkshaw Hawkins and Cowboy Copas, was killed in a plane crash while on her way home from a benefit concert in Kansas City, Kan.

The Big Band Sound

Performing: Saturday, August 12th, 2021 @ 4:00PM

THE BIG BAND SOUND, INC. plays each decade's favorites with a big band approach. Entertaining for concerts, dances, socials, and community events, the group is well-known throughout Central PA.

Chris Woodward & Shindiggin’

Performing: Saturday, August 13th, 2022 @ 8:00PM

Enjoy the last night of the fair with singer/songwriter Chris Woodward, from the hills of Central PA who tours around with his band Shindiggin’ creating high energy shows with a Country flavor as well as other genres, Chris and Shindiggin’ makes a lot of fun and has people wanting to come back for more!
